In June\u00a0of 2015 NRS launched our first ever social media campaign: #Guidevibes. Across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter we celebrated the lifestyle and culture of guides. By using the hashtag #Guidevibes and tagging @nrsweb, participants entered a weekly contest for some great prizes offered by NRS, Chaco<\/a>, prAna<\/a>, Yeti<\/a>, Werner<\/a>, and WRSI<\/a>, as well as the Grand Prize<\/a>–an NRS Outlaw raft\u00a0filled with gear–which was announced in September.<\/p>\n

When August came to an end, more than 3,000 photos had been submitted. From the urban SUP guide to the dirtbag river rat’s multi-day trip, to weekend sea kayaking sessions and Grand Canyon adventures, we received everything. Groovers, makeshift homes, guide olympics, five-star camp menu spreads; rain, sun, lightning storms, and some radical\u00a0stills and videos of the forest fires that wreaked havoc across the northwest; we even got a marriage proposal.<\/p>\n

In honor of #Guidevibes, and in spirit of the coming holidays, we offer you “The 12 Days of #Guidevibes.”<\/p>\n
