Lydia's favorite river is the one that floats her, and her North Carolina home rarely disappoints! Always a lover of the water, she now spends her days teaching kayaking throughout the Southeast and in Chile. She loves keeping life simple by traveling, working, living, and playing out of her vehicle as much as possible. When she can’t get on the water, she enjoys running as far and as long as her legs will allow. Her adventures need fuel so when she's not outside, she enjoys cooking and playing with food. Lydia loves stern squirts, wildlife spottings, hot sauce, and getting up early. She lives by the adage, “if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry,” and tries to do as much of the former as possible.
