A Second Chance for the Teton River

Scroll

Nearly 50 years ago, the Teton River changed forever.

In 1976, the Teton Dam collapsed, releasing nearly 80 billion gallons of water and devastating everything downstream. Lives were lost. Communities were displaced. A river system was rewritten overnight. But this isn’t just a story about what happened 50 years ago, it’s about what happens next.

Today, anglers, ranchers, and conservationists are working together to protect the future of the Teton River. Second Chance tells their story.

And, to support their work, we’ve partnered with leading outdoor brands to create the Collab for Conservation Sweepstakes, with a $10,000+ fly fishing prize package, including a fully rigged NRS 142 Slipstream raft. When you donate, you’re automatically entered to win.

Every dollar raised supports:

  • On-the-ground river restoration
  • Conservation advocacy
  • Long-term stewardship of the Teton River through American Rivers and Friends of the Teton River.
